An experimenter is demonstrating to a graduate student from the University of Michigan about how to properly perform a titration lab for chemistry. The student is eagerly paying attention, because she knows that she will be called upon to repeat what the instructor is currently doing. The instructor not only performs the lab, but does it in an orderly manner and keeps the workspace free of clutter. The student observes all of these minor details, and tries to remember it all; however sometimes this can be overwhelming. The teacher is exhibiting caution in her instruction so that she can set a good example, and the student is watching intently with all her concentration. The student will become an instructor someday for another student.
